Use a template

Prefer to work in a document? These free templates are for you. The cheat sheet and template use the same eight issues, facts and page references as the helper. There is also an extra template on homes, property values, community wellbeing and traffic.

These are the templates. Would you rather be guided step by step on this website? Use the helper instead.

The Coordinator-General's office prefers each person to make their own submission, in their own words. Use the templates as a guide, not something to copy word for word.

How the downloads work. Download Word saves the file to your computer. Your browser may ask where to save it. Pick a folder, press Save, then open the file from there (or click it in your browser's download list). View PDF opens the document in a new tab, with nothing to save.

Facts count. Share how you feel anywhere. In your submission, put the facts, where they come from, and what you want done. Why this site sticks to the facts

1. Cheat sheet

Start here. The five things a submission must have, the Coordinator-General's tips, and eight issues you could raise, each with the facts, the report and page number, and what you could ask for.

6 pages. Word about 19 KB; PDF about 120 KB.

2. Template

The blank form to fill in, with the Coordinator-General's email and postal address and the project name already in. Fill it in on a computer or by hand.

2 pages. Word about 12 KB; PDF about 76 KB.

3. Extra template: homes, property values, community wellbeing and traffic

A second, topic-focused template for concerns the eight issues do not cover: homes and property values, people feeling pushed to leave, heavy vehicles and road safety, and the effect on Scenic Rim tourism and farming. It has grey boxes for your own experience, facts with their sources, and a short request that the Coordinator-General consider human rights. Use it on its own or alongside the template above.

4 pages. Word about 16 KB; PDF about 78 KB.

4. Example completed submission

A made-up example (Jane Citizen is not a real person) showing what a finished submission can look like.

2 pages. Word about 13 KB; PDF about 69 KB.

5. How to send your submission

The exact email address, subject line and file name, what your finished email should look like, and how to send by post or online.

2 pages. Word about 12 KB; PDF about 58 KB.
